2015 has been an amazing year for Del’s cooking twist. A year full of culinary adventures in many ways (recipes, food photography, videos, food events, etc.) with an exploding number of visits on the blog. I can’t even express how blessed I feel! I want to thank you for following me each day a little bit more, and I wish you all a Happy New Year 2016!
Now, let’s have a look at the most viewed recipes on the blog in 2015, i.e. the most popular among you, my readers. Please keep in mind that my audience is international since I publish the recipes in both French and English (a good way to learn French for you maybe?).
1. Swedish Cinnamon Rolls “Kanelbullar”
My Number 1 recipe and the most popular among you are my Swedish Cinnamon Rolls “Kanelbullar”. Many of you tried the recipe once or more and gave me their feedback. What you love the most about my recipe is the simplicity and the real taste of these Swedish delicacies. You haven’t tried them yet? Then it’s about time to start!
2. Healthy No Bake Energy Bites
The number 2 recipe is a healthy snack, that you can prepare in advance once a week, store in the refrigerator and grab when you fancy. Made with peanut butter and seeds, these bites are not only tasty but also very energetic. Craving something sweet after training? Go for these energy bites, they are way healthier than the ones you might find at the grocery store.
3. Swedish Cinnamon Star Bread
My number 3 recipe is also my very first baking video and I had lot of fun doing it. I am really proud of this twisted version of the classic Cinnamon Roll. It looks good and you will impress with your baking skills. In fact, the recipe is actually quite easy to make! Need a baking challenge for 2016 maybe?
4. Spinach and Feta Quinoa Patties
My number 4 recipe has been popular on this blog for a very long time since it is one of the first recipes I published. Several years on, these Spinach & Feta Quinoa Patties are still very popular among my vegetarian audience but not only. My friends who tried them are totally crazy about them, and they also love the lemon yogurt dip that comes along with the patties.
My number 5 recipe is a Swedish recipe as well. Not as famous as the cinnamon bun, these Cardamom buns are nevertheless very popular in Sweden and happen to be my favorite ones. This recipe is an advanced version of the classic recipe. It uses a pre-dough and the buns take on a lovely shape. Aren’t they adorable?
6. Salmon Tartare with Avocado and Mango
My number 6 recipe is an elegant and festive salmon tartare with avocado and an exotic touch of fresh mango. This is a very refreshing starter, just perfect for all of you who love the sweet & savory taste as much as I do!
7. Tropical Green Detox Smoothie
My number 7 recipe is a Green Detox Smoothie. You would love to try a green smoothie because it looks healthy but you are a bit afraid of its green-ish taste? Then try this version. Full of benefits for your body with a delicate and slightly sweet taste. Perfect to start your healthy resolutions in 2016!
8. French Chocolate Chip Viennoises
My number 8 recipe is the perfect recipe for your kids. These Chocolate Chip Viennoises are extremely easy to make (you only need to knead the dough a mere 4 minutes) and I go bananas for all their chocolate chips inside. Prepare them for breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning for the entire family!
9. Salmon & Avocado Quinoa Salad with Grapefruit Vinaigrette
My number 9 recipe is a great favorite of mine. I love to make this dish for myself as often as I can. It is refreshing, nourishing and healthy all at the same time. Everything I like is in one plate, with again this lovely sweet & savory touch…
My number 10 recipe are my Milk & Cookie Cups, which are also my second baking video where I explain how to bake them. You will love the idea of drinking your milk in a cup made of milk. Give them a try!
Bonus: 12 Healthy Breakfast Recipes
In between my top 10 recipes for 2015, one blog post is very popular on my blog and you seem to come back to it often: it is all about 12 healthy breakfast recipes that I gathered in this article. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, don’t forget it!
